Metronome Plus is a free practice metronome for musicians, styled after a classic mechanical pyramid metronome. Core features: a phase-locked animated pendulum you can drag to set the tempo (40-208 BPM), five synthesised click sounds (Classic, Wood, Digital, Bell, Subtle), named tempo presets (Largo to Presto plus custom user presets), time signatures (2/4 3/4 4/4 5/4 3/8 6/8 7/8), subdivisions, per-beat accent patterns, volume, a visual pulse grid, tap tempo, and a Practice Mode that automatically raises the tempo over time. It also includes two extra tools: a Tempo Finder that listens through the device microphone to estimate the BPM of music playing nearby, and a Rhythm Game that scores how steadily the user can hold a tempo in silence. The app keeps the screen awake while the metronome or game is running. Monetization: completely FREE. There are no ads, no advertising SDK, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions. There are no user accounts and no sign-in of any kind. Permissions: MICROPHONE (RECORD_AUDIO) is requested only when the user opens the Tempo Finder or the Rhythm Game and taps Listen. The microphone signal is analysed in memory on the device to estimate beats per minute; audio is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere. Denying the permission simply disables those two optional tools. WAKE_LOCK is used to keep the screen on while the metronome is running. INTERNET is declared by the app framework but the app works fully offline and makes no network calls in normal use.
